Assembly Plant Exhibit

For the Children’s Museum of Denver

THE PROJECT: This exhibit aims to educate children (ages 4-8) on recycling by transforming waste into art using real tools and hardware. Tasked by the museum to conceal unsightly metal cabinets with a mural about environmentalism, I developed the storyline and imagery. This involved creating production files for CNC machining and hand-painting plywood layers. I also designed the display cabinet to complement the mural while serving as a showcase for the creative projects generated by the exhibit’s visitors.

MATERIALS: Layers of Painted Plywood, Steel, Plex
